Aptio Group helps companies execute, interpret, and navigate regulatory and industry-specific requirements in tasks and processes. These requirements can be found in both legislation and various standards. We work cross-functionally, addressing issues across all business processes, including production, product development, research, testing, and procurement.
Founded in Malmö in 2017, Aptio Group has been an independent part of the Danir Group since 2021. We engage around 240 people across four offices in Sweden, Denmark, and Switzerland.
Over the past eight years, Aptio Group has grown from a startup in Sweden into a small international group operating in three countries – entirely through organic growth. This approach has brought both challenges and benefits. For example, it has allowed us to identify leaders and coworkers who share our view of corporate culture, which has resulted in fewer cultural clashes.
Challenges have arisen when establishing operations in countries which were new to Danir. Setting up companies in countries with different laws and regulations placed high demands and expectations on the entrepreneurs tasked with building these operations. Nothing has come easily – except perhaps the most important element: a shared corporate culture.
We believe that a company growing entirely organically requires more freedom and less micromanagement than other types of organisations, and the mentality of Aptio Group and the Danir Group allows and encourages this. Governance is, of course, important, but support and encouragement are vital to allow employees to develop and to foster the organic growth of the company.
Aptio Group has applied the model we call “What, not How” in our establishments in Denmark and Switzerland. When these operations were launched, it was important that they felt distinctly “Danish” or “Swiss.” Leaders were therefore given considerable freedom to develop their businesses according to the culture and market of each country – while adhering to the same core principles.
We have observed a cautious market, particularly in Sweden. Despite this, forecasts indicate that the group will exceed the 2024 turnover of 500 MSEK.
The establishment of our Swiss operation has begun to yield positive results and is already making a noticeable impact in that market. In Denmark, the market has experienced some turbulence, but Aptio Group Denmark remains strong.
Our services and quality of delivery are starting to gain recognition beyond our current markets. As a result, we continue to explore new opportunities for expansion and look to the group’s future with confidence.
Figures for 2025 are based on the latest available forecast and may therefore differ slightly towards actual outcomes. This applies to all 2025 figures.
