We are driven by entrepreneurship, where every manager and employee are given the opportunity to influence their work situation. Each unit within Aptio Group, from individual companies to cost centres, operates with the same core idea, adapted to local and cultural differences. We believe that a company driven by entrepreneurial spirit thrives on more freedom and less micromanagement compared to other types of companies; something that Danir Group promotes. While governance is certainly important, we believe that encouragement and support are even more crucial to developing and improving both employees’ everyday work and the company’s growth.

Aptio Group has applied our “What – not how” model in both our Danish and Swiss businesses. When they were launched, it was vital that they were perceived as ”Danish” or ”Swiss” companies. Therefore, the managers were given relatively free rein to build their operations tailored to the country’s culture and market but based on the same core idea. Looking at our Danish operations, this approach has proven successful over the years, as they account for the largest growth and turnover within the group’s overall expansion and revenue.

We believe that Danir is the ideal parent company for our business model and vision of how an entrepreneur-driven company should be run in the long term. Furthermore, we believe that an entrepreneur should not be controlled but rather supported and encouraged, and Danir does this with its entrepreneurial mindset and long-term commitment.
