MOD.01 is a smart IoT sensor based on a consumer mobile chipset and the Android operating system that provides in-device computer vision. The small form factor and attractive design provides for an unobtrusive installation, and the in-device video processing provides privacy as pictures/video never leave the device. The open platform based on the android operating system enables 3rd parties to develop an application ecosystem.
The combination of Sigma Connectivity’s decades of experience with product development, mobile platforms and sensors and MOD.CAM’s expertise in computer vision, video analytics and edge processing enabled the development of a uniquely powerful and small IoT sensor.
