Nexer is taking another major step forward in the engineering field with a strategic expansion in Stockholm, Linköping and Västerås. Annica Sunnman, former Managing Director of Nexer India, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Nexer Engineering and will lead the initiative.

The Nexer Engineering business area offers solutions in embedded systems, hardware-software integration, mechanics, electronics, production and project management. A strong focus is placed on team-based deliveries to meet the growing demand for sustainable and advanced engineering solutions in the Automotive, Defence, MedTech, Manufacturing and Telecom industries.

Already established in Gothenburg, Malmö, Västerås, Linköping and Stockholm, Nexer Engineering reported impressive growth of 20% in 2024. The business area now continues its expansion in hardware-related software development, driven by a robust engineering tradition, innovative strength, and strategic recruitment of top talent.

The geographical expansion aims to further enhance Nexer’s capabilities in advanced technology development. Linköping, with its rich engineering heritage and proximity to Linköping University, serves as a key hub for innovation and skills supply. Västerås, with its strong industrial base, provides opportunities to grow in manufacturing and automation technology. Meanwhile, Stockholm’s dynamic tech scene and international connections offer a strategic platform for future growth and global expansion.
