Sigma Connectivity is a global design house and development partner specialising in IoT, MedTech, CleanTech, consumer products, and production technology. Founded in 2013, we have grown into a company of more than 600 co-workers across 13 locations worldwide. Our culture is built on three simple principles: Engage, Create, Deliver. For Sigma Connectivity, organic growth has always been at the heart of who we are. Starting from scratch in 2013, without consulting experience or an established customer base, we relied on our passion for technology, our product development expertise and, above all, our culture. We quickly developed what we call Never Work Alone – a mindset built on collaboration, openness, and the courage to ask for help. Complex product development requires strong teams, creativity, and the ability to adapt when plans change. This culture has guided us ever since.
Over 95 percent of our growth has been organic, with revenues now surpassing 1,100 MSEK. Our strategy is simple: establish ourselves in the world’s high-tech regions and grow step by step. We start small by visiting leads, building a bridgehead of customers, adding local sales, and then expanding with engineering capacity to support them – always working as one global team. This approach has successfully taken us to San Jose, San Diego, Seattle, New York, Denmark, Germany, the UK, and the Middle East.
Equally important has been safeguarding our culture. When opening new engineering centres in Poland and Romania, internal culture bearers travelled back and forth to ensure the Never Work Alone mindset took root. Even in the rare cases where growth came through acquisitions, such as Lundinova and Stockholm, we carefully chose partners whose cultures matched our own.
Guided by the Danir Group’s entrepreneurial spirit, we have dared to invest boldly while protecting what makes us unique. For us, organic growth means more than numbers – it is about building long-term relationships, nurturing talent, and growing stronger together with our customers.
2025 was a year of solid organic growth for Sigma Connectivity. Revenue exceeded 1,100 MSEK, an increase of around 11 percent. More than 25 percent of our customers were new, particularly in Germany, the US East Coast, and the Middle East. Many of these partnerships came through recommendations from existing customers and technology partners who know our expertise and reliability. We were also proud to see ChatGPT recommend Sigma Connectivity to a customer searching for the best development partner for a specific chipset.
In May, we hosted Connectivity of Things with 300 participants – a vibrant meeting place for customers and partners – and inaugurated our new large-scale EMC lab, strengthening our unique testing capabilities.
