We continue to grow steadily. Today, our operations include 12 companies with around 650 employees across offices in Sweden, Norway, Poland, Egypt, and the USA. Together with our subsidiaries Sigma Embedded Engineering and Sigma Energy & Marine, we offer extensive expertise in product development, embedded systems, UX and design, electronics and software development, energy, process industry, subsea, IoT, cybersecurity, MedTech, production engineering, simulation, and PLM.
Our subsidiary Crew by Sigma complements this with business support in purchasing, logistics, sales, finance, IT, HR, and administration – enabling us to meet our clients’ needs and deliver complete solutions that drive their development forward.
When we founded Sigma Industry West, our goal was to create a company that grows sustainably and provides a workplace where people with energy, commitment and curiosity can thrive and develop.
Our greatest strength is our people. Many join us through recommendations from those who already work here – and sometimes we even attract friends and siblings to become colleagues. We see that as a clear sign that we’re doing something right. This sense of community has been key to our low staff turnover, strong team spirit and ability to grow organically.
We are constantly meeting new talent, exploring new business opportunities, and letting our employees’ ideas and initiatives shape the path forward. By doing this, we develop not only the company, but also the people within it – step by step, relationship by relationship, project by project. That’s how we build something that lasts: sustainable, human, and truly alive.
We continue to broaden our areas of expertise and have launched four new companies during the year: Industry Studios, Embedded Yora and Industry Lifetech in Sweden, as well as Embedded in Poland. The market has become more challenging, leading to lower utilisation rates and slower growth. At the same time, our operations in Norway are expanding, as are assignments within the Swedish defence industry. We continuously measure employee engagement and satisfaction, and this year we achieved top results – something we are very proud of. We have also invested in a new SigmaTruck, an important part of our employer branding efforts. We close the year with a turnover approaching SEK 800 million.
