Sigma Connectivity

A new platform with unlimited possibilities

Since our foundation in 2013, we have grown from 180 to over 600 employees and delivered thousands of projects in the areas of IoT, consumer products, MedTech, CleanTech and production technology. The common factor in all these projects is that they are all connected and boundary-pushing – and introduce new technology to established areas. No industry is too complex to connect.

Sigma Connectivity Group currently consists of eight legal entities and operates in twelve locations worldwide. With innovative connected solutions and products, we create value and growth that set both us and our customers apart and contribute to their journey towards digitalisation.

Focusing on the long game

We do everything with a view to the future. We can quickly and smoothly supply our customers, both locally and globally with the competence they need. We have set up processes that create stability and security for both us and our customers. These process cover everything from the work environment to innovation and sustainability.

Our long-term partnerships with our customers build trust, which means that we constantly familiarise ourselves with and get to know their processes and products well. This, in turn, allows us to play in active role in developing new platforms for their services or products and helping them grow.

Our long-term focus is an important part of our organisation’s development, and we believe that it is essential to our ability to continue to deliver efficient, high-quality services.

The year in brief

We have once again enjoyed a very good year within the group, and our restructuring has already revealed its potential. We are already collaborating with innovative customers on several new 5G projects. Among others, we are continuing our fruitful collaboration with Qualcomm as a technology partner. These projects were launched this year but promise full commitment in the coming years, as well.

Recruiting and finding the right skills is a major challenge for us, as it is for the entire industry. 2022 completely transformed how we think about recruitment. We stepped far outside the box in terms of how we and others had done things the past and were pleasantly surprised by the results. We have gained greater diversity among our staff and a much more creative and competent environment, an environment where innovation is at the forefront.

We have also launched a number of new competence development programmes. These include Android Academy, which will ensure that we are well-equipped for the increased need for Android developers. We have also set up Tech Hour, Nevalon (competence sharing), Tech Bazar and Competence teams to ensure that our technical competence is always cutting-edge.

We are also continuing our important sustainability work, which is based on three pillars – the environment, society and economy. This work is also evident in our projects, including in our assignment for Way Out, in which we work with water purification, and the e-bike project we are working on together with Bosch.
