With InterMatte’s unique help messages and instructional videos, students receive immediate feedback and assistance when they get stuck on a task. The programme analyses the student’s response and provides a help message specifically tailored to the mistake made. Featuring gamified elements and an appealing layout, mathematics is presented in an engaging way without compromising on quality.

Entrepreneurship inspiring innovative learning

For us at InterMatte, entrepreneurship is about thinking outside the box and daring to go our own way. Since the beginning, it has been central to our approach that we are not offering just a digital math book, but a digital learning tool.

Instead of simply trying to meet the same needs that printed math books have fulfilled since the 20th century, we asked ourselves what other needs we could address using digital technology. The result is a product that supports teachers in gathering results, providing feedback, individualising learning, and helping students to keep going.

The Year in Brief

The academic year 23/24 was challenging for the educational materials industry in general, and perhaps digital learning tools in particular. Many schools with tight budgets were forced to cut costs where possible, and we lost many customers who previously used InterMatte as a digital complement to printed math books. Sales dropped by 25 percent compared to 22/23.
However, we are proud that we have been able to continue developing our product throughout the year and maintain our position as a high-quality option when it comes to digital learning tools for mathematics.
