The multi-award winning Thanda Safari, the private game reserve located in KwaZulu Natal, was honoured twice at World Travel Awards™ Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2016.

Villa iZulu, the majestic private safari villa with five well-appointed suites, earned a World Travel Award as South Africa’s Leading Luxury Private Villa 2016 whilst Thanda Safari Lodge, comprising 9 vast suites with panoramic views of the wilderness, received the award for South Africa’s Leading Safari Lodge 2016.

The red-carpet Gala Ceremony, regularly referred to as the “Oscars” of the travel industry, was held in Zanzibar, Tanzania, before an invited audience of the industry’s leading luminaries and international media.
