The Läxhjälpen foundation is a private, non-profit organisation. With support from the business world, it offers free homework help in socio-economically challenged areas in Sweden. Today Läxhjälpen is active in twelve schools in Stockholm, five in Gothenburg, four in Malmö, and one in Södertälje.
At some compulsory schools in Sweden, only four out of every ten students continue to upper secondary studies. With support from Läxhjälpen [Study Support], 92% are being helped to enhance their self-confidence in their studies and 96% have a greater desire to continue with their studies.
As the education of young people is not only crucial for their future, but also in due course affects our recruitment base and the realisation of a better tomorrow, Danir gives its whole-hearted support to the Läxhjälpen initiative.
